Biochem/physiol Actions
ブロモクレゾールパープルは、黄色（低pH 5.2）から紫（pH 6.8超）に色が変化するpH指標です。主に酵母細胞の蛍光染色として使用されます。これは、原形質膜が損傷した細胞の死細胞計数に役立ちます。損傷した細胞は青灰色の影として見える一方、適切な細胞膜を持つ細胞は染色されません。
