Application

トルイジンブルーは、以下の用途での使用に適しています：
  1. アミロイドの実証。植物原料中のDNA、マスト細胞、ニッスル物質、核、スルファチド。
  2. 硫酸ムチンと関連材料による異染性染色で
  3. マウス緻密骨から間葉系幹細胞を単離・培養するための、軟骨基質であるプロテオグリカンの発生と蓄積を確認するための染色剤として
  4. 水混和性樹脂のムチンとエポキシ樹脂の核酸の染色(1)

Biochem/physiol Actions

トルイジンブルーは、カルボン酸塩、硫酸塩およびリン酸塩ラジカルなどの酸性組織成分の選択的染色に使われる塩基性チアジン異染性染料です。核酸に親和性を持つことが明らかになっており、そのためDNAとRNAを多く含む組織の核物質と結合します。
