ポリ-L-オルニチンは、神経細胞の接着のほか、神経細胞の分化や増殖の研究に適しています。細胞培養基質として、25 cm2のコーティングに0.1 mg/mL溶液を0.5 mL使用することを推奨します。
ポリ-L-オルニチン溶液は、分化誘導に使用されています。
