General description

Ion-pairing reagents, when used as mobile phase additives, promote the analysis of ionic and highly polar substances on reversed phase HPLC columns. The purity of mobile phase additives is of highest significance for their effective application. Sigma-Aldrich makes available a variety of tailor-made reagents for anionic (quaternary ammonium and phosphonium salts) and cationic (alkanesulfonates) separations.
