General description
ビス-トリスメタンは、BIS-TRISまたはBTMとしても知られる双性イオン性緩衝剤であり、生化学および生物学の研究に広く使用されています。5.8～7.2のpH範囲の水溶液で有効に機能し、解離定数の変動をほとんど示しません。また、毒性の強いカコジル酸緩衝液の代替品としても使用でき、さらに種々の金属と複合体を形成できることでも知られています。
