Application

Agent fortement chaotropique permettant de dénaturer puis de replier les protéines. Ce dénaturant puissant peut solubiliser les protéines insolubles ou dénaturées telles que les corps d'inclusion. Il peut servir de première étape dans le repliement sous forme active des protéines ou des enzymes. Il peut être également nécessaire d'utiliser de l'urée et du dithiothréitol (DTT).
