General description

M-FIX® spray fixative - for cytodiagnosis, is a fixative spray that is suitable for the wet fixation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological preparations processed in Papanicolaou staining. M-FIX® contains polyglycols in alcoholic solution and a rapid and secure fixation of specimens is possible. Its formulation enables stabilization of the material upon alcohol fixation and forms a protective film against desiccation and damage to the specimen material.
100 ml M-FIX® is sufficient for approx. 250 applications. This product is registered as IVD and CE marked. For more details, please see instructions for use (IFU). The IFU can be downloaded from this webpage.
