イミダゾールは、25°CにおいてpH範囲6.2～7.8でバッファーとして使用されます。西洋ワサビペルオキシダーゼのアッセイのバッファー成分として、またさまざまな二価陽イオンを結合するキレート剤としての使用が推奨されます。イミダゾールは、二価陽イオン樹脂（Sigma P6611、HisSelect.-HC Nickel affinity gel）からのヒスチジン含有タンパク質の溶出に役立ち、タンパク質検出のためのSDS-PAGEゲルの逆染色にも使用することができます。

Application
