Application
メルファランはHDAC阻害剤JNJ-26481585と併用する医薬品として、多発性骨髄腫（MM）細胞株および乳癌細胞株において化学療法剤として使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
メルファランは抗腫瘍剤です。
ラットでは分離肺灌流（ILP）において、メルファランは肉腫の肺転移に有効な治療薬として機能します。5′-GGC配列の二官能性アルキル化によって、DNA鎖内で架橋を形成させます。 メルファランは骨髄抑制剤としても機能し、多発性骨髄腫および卵巣癌の治療に関与できる可能性があります。
