General description

It also shows high transmission in a wide spectral range from VUV(vacuum UV) through IR. It is widely used in the field of optical devices and electronic transistors.
Application
Beryllium oxide can be used as an additive to fabricate uranium dioxide kernels(nuclear fuel) with enhanced thermal conductivity.
