      OverviewEmbryonic Stem Cell line derived from DBA/2N blastocysts. DBA/2N is a non-agouti, dilute brown strain, with characteristic greyish fur. Embryos from albino strains such as BALB/C or tyrosinase deficient C57BL/6 may be suitable recipients for chimera production with DBA2 ES cells. Additional phenotypic information is available at Mouse Genome Informatics website (http://www.informatics.jax.org/external/festing/mouse/docs/DBA.shtml). The DBA2 ES line was genome verified by determining the alleles at 29 SNPs that are informative across a large number of inbred mouse strains.
