A cell-permeable prodrug ester form of farnesyltransferase (FTase) inhibitor II (Cat. No. 344152). Also inhibits Ras processing in cells (~100 µM), thereby preventing Ras-mediated transformation. Inhibits C15 and C20 protein prenylation in NIH-3T3 cells.
