Recombinant, human PP2AI I1 fused to GST and expressed in E. coli. Acts as a potent, heat-stable, specific, and non-competitive inhibitor of PP2A (Ki = 30 nM with myelin basic protein, histone H1, or phosphorylase as substrates for PP2A). Does not inhibit PP1, PP2B, or PP2C, or pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase.
