Application

Utilisé comme agent réducteur pour l′hydrogénation de composés organiques, par exemple l′hydrogénation de nitriles en amines, la réduction de groupes aromatiques pour donner les composés saturés correspondants, l′hydrogénation de β-cétoesters, la réduction d′amination. Également utilisé pour la 3-alkylation de l′oxindole avec un alcool, le couplage d′Ullmann et les réactions de déshalogénation.
