General description

L'histone H4 est l'une des cinq principales protéines de type histone impliquées dans la structure de la chromatine dans les cellules eucaryotes. Caractérisée par un domaine principal globulaire et une longue queue N-terminale, l'histone H4 détermine la structure en "collier de perles" des nucléosomes.
