Tryptic soy broth is suitable for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious aerobic bacteria, yeasts, and molds. Two highly nutritious peptones support the growth of a wide variety of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms, including fungi.

Tryptic Soy Broth is used for sterility testing of substances, preparations, products, as well as a pre-enrichment broth to test the specified microorganisms or determine total viable aerobic count using the MPN method within non-sterile products.
