General description

Rabbit polyclonal antibody purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation. Recognizes recombinant and monocyte-derived TNF-α.
Recognizes recombinant and monocyte-derived TNF-α. Exhibits some cross-reactivity with lymphotoxin (TNF-β) and mouse TNF-α in L929 cells.
This Anti-TNF-α Rabbit pAb is validated for use in ELISA, Frozen Sections, Immunoblotting, Neutralization Studies, Paraffin Sections, Radioimmunoassay for the detection of TNF-α.

1 EU corresponds to 0.1 ng endotoxin (EC-6/USP Standard)
Reacts specifically with natural and recombinant human TNF-α. An approximately 20 µg/ml solution of this antibody has been shown to neutralize 100% of the activity of 0.5 ng/ml recombinant human TNF-α, as measured in the standard L929 cell bioassay. This antibody has also been reported to work for ELISA, frozen sections, immunoblotting, paraffin sections, radioimmunoassay. Endotoxin: ≤5 EU/mg protein as determined by the Biowhittaker Endotect LAL assay. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
