Background InformationThis versatile support is an excellent tool for the solid phase immobilization of carboxylic acids, amines and alcohols. Acids are attached by treating the resin with the appropriate DIPEA salt in DMF in the presence of CsI [1,2]. Reaction with aryl and alkyl amines provides resin-bound secondary amines. These can be readily acylated to give sulfonamides or anilides that can be cleaved with 95% TFA. Since this resin does not contain a benzylic ether linkage, it gives cleaner products than similar supports derived from Wang resin, free from impurities arising from breakdown of the linker. For examples using a similar resin, please see [1-4].

The product number for this product was previously 01-64-0400.
