      Application CommentsFACS was performed on 5x105 HPB-MLT human tumor cells and analyzed by flow cytometry. Optimal binding was obtained at 5 µg/ml using goat anti-mouse IgG, FITC conjugated, as the secondary antibody. This antibody has also been reported to work for 2D gel electrophoresis, ELISA, and frozen sections. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.

      BackgroundThe amino terminal region of CD4 is a receptor for the HIV-1 viral protein gp120 and this antibody will block binding of HIV-1 gp120 to CD4. It also blocks HLA Class II Rosette formation.
