Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.

      DescriptionImmunoaffinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~34 kDa latent and the ~20 kDa and ~18 kDa active forms of caspase-3.
      BackgroundCaspase-3 is a member of the group II family of interleukin-1β convertases (ICE) cell death effector (CED) cysteine proteases. Caspase-3 and caspase-6 are the major active caspases in apoptotic cells, suggestion that activation of caspase-3 is a pivotal event in the execution phase of apoptosis. Upon activation, procaspase-3 is cleaved into a large p17-p20 subunit (depending on the activator) and a smaller p12 subunit.
