| Overview | This product has been discontinued. A cell-permeable hydroxylated anthraquinone compound that acts as a potent (IC50 = 110 nM), highly selective (IC50 >1µM against CK1 and 83 other kinases), and ATP-competitive (Ki = 50 nM) CK2 inhibitor with greater selectivity than TBB (Cat. Nos. 218697 and 218708) and DMAT (Cat. Nos. 218699 and 218706) against DYRK1a, PIM1/3, and HIPK2. Quinalizarin is about 4.3- and 1.9-fold more effective than TBB, respectively, in cellular CK2 activity inhibition and in apoptosis induction in Jurkat cell cultures. |
