      An aminopyrimidine derivative that acts as a selective and ATP-competitive inhibitor of Cdk2/cyclin E and Cdk5/p25 (Ki = 2 µM). Binds to the ATP-binding pocket of Cdk2. Does not affect the activities of c-Met, IGF-1 receptor tyrosine kinase, cAMP-dependent kinase, and ERK2 at concentrations as high as 100 µM.

      DescriptionAn aminopyrimidine derivative that acts as a selective inhibitor of Cdk2/cyclin E and Cdk5/p25 (Ki = 2 µM). The inhibition is competitive with respect to ATP. Crystallographic studies indicate that the inhibitor binds to the ATP-binding pocket of the enzyme. Does not affect the activity of c-met, insulin-like growth factor I receptor tyrosine kinase (IGF-IR), cAMP-dependent kinase, or ERK2 even at a 100 µM concentration.
