      Overview

      This product has been discontinued.

We are currently only offering non-immobilized DTT, Cleland's Reagent (Cat. No. 233155), Cleland's Reagent, ULTROL™ Grade (Cat. No. 233153), and Cleland's Reagent, Molecular Biology Grade (Cat. No. 233156). Please read the alternative product documentation carefully and contact technical service if you need additional information.

Immobilized form of DTT on polyacrylamide resin, with applications similar to those of DTT itself (Cat. Nos. 233153, 233156, and 233155) but with the important advantage that no soluble components are added to the system. REDUCTACRYL™ Reagent can be used in a batch technique, in which the resin can be easily removed by filtration, or it can be packed into a column. Using a 10-fold excess of resin in the batch technique, it has been shown that 1 mM oxidized glutathione can be reduced completely to glutathione in 15 min at room temperature, pH 7.5.
Reduction capacity: >0.06 meq/g of resin.
