      Product Description

      The NovaQUANT™ Human Mitochondrial Biogenesis qPCR Kit is designed to quantify the relative mRNA levels of complex subunits I, II, III, IV, V, three house-keeping control genes, and a master regulator of oxidative phosphorylation, PGC-1α.

      This kit contains HepG2 cDNA as a control and a set of 12 optimized PCR primer pairs, as listed in Technical Bulletin, TB567. The mRNA for the house keeping genes used in this kit are shown to be some of the most stably expressed genes among a different cell types and varying experimental conditions.
