      DescriptionModified protein kinase Cη pseudosubstrate sequence (Cat. No. 539602) that contains Ser162 instead of Ala162. It is used as a peptide substrate in in vitro PKCη kinase assays. The biotin moiety allows simple isolation of the peptide, after each reaction, by immobilized streptavidin.

      Recommended reaction conditionsPKCη-containing sample is incubated at 30-37°C in 50 mM Tris buffer (pH 7.5) containing 5 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mM Na3VO4, 0.1 mM Na4P2O7, 1 mM NaF, 0.1 mM PMSF, 50 µM ATP, 5 µCi [γ-32P]ATP, 4 µg phosphatidylserine, and 40 µM PKCη substrate. Sold on the basis of peptide content.
