Please refer to our complete listing of alkaline phosphatases for possible alternatives. Please read the alternative product documentation carefully and contact technical service if you need additional information.

Native alkaline phosphatase from calf intestine. Calf Intestine Alkaline Phosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of 5'-terminal phosphates of DNA, RNA, and deoxy- and ribonucleoside triphosphates. This preparation is suitable for dephosphorylation of vector DNA to prevent “empty vector” religation in cloning experiments, and for removal of 5'-phosphate groups in preparation for labeling with polynucleotide kinase.
