General description
インテグリンβ4は、a6インテグリンに関与してa6/b4複合体を形成する糖タンパク質です。インテグリンα6／β4はラミニンの受容体で、上皮細胞のヘミデスモソームにおいて重要な構造的役割を果たします。インテグリンβ4遺伝子の欠陥は、幽門閉鎖症を伴う表皮水疱症（EB PA）（幽門閉鎖症を伴う接合部型表皮水疱症（PA-JEB）または胃腸閉鎖症を伴う先天性皮膚形成不全症としても知られる）の原因となります。EB-PAは、皮膚粘膜脆弱症と胃腸閉鎖症によって特徴付けられ、幽門に最もよく影響を及ぼします。さらに、インテグリンβ4遺伝子の欠陥は、全身性萎縮性良性表皮水疱症（GABEB）の原因にもなります。接合部型表皮水疱症のこの非致死性の形態は、生涯にわたる皮膚の水疱形成によって特徴付けられ、毛髪と歯の異常を伴います。
Application
この抗インテグリンβ4抗体、クローン3E1は、FC、IC、IH、IPを用いたインテグリンβ4の検出がバリデーションされています。
約1：200での免疫蛍光染色法でヒト皮膚を染色できます。アセトン固定が必要です。
免疫沈降およびフローサイトメトリーにも適しています。
