ベザフィブレ-トは、ペルオキシソ-ム増殖因子活性化受容体PPARα, PPARδ, PPARγのアゴニストです。リポタンパク質リパ-ゼ(LPL)の活性化因子です。
ペルオキシソ-ム増殖因子活性化受容体(PPAR)は核内ステロイドレセプタ-ス-パ-ファミリ-に属しています。ベザフィブレ-トは、ペルオキシソ-ム増殖因子活性化受容体PPARα, PPARδ, PPARγのアゴニストです。リポタンパク質リパ-ゼ(LPL)の活性化因子です。
ベザフィブレ-トなどのPPARγアゴニストは、RSV感染中の炎症反応の抑制に有効であり、重篤なRSV感染の経過中においても臨床効果が期待されています。
