General description

Fura 2-AM（Fura 2）は、カルシウム特異的なレシオメトリック型蛍光色素です。アセトキシメチルエステルとしても知られています。 カルシウムイオンに応答して、Fura 2のようなレシオメトリック型色素はそれぞれの励起スペクトルや発光スペクトルが変化します。細胞内カルシウム濃度は、蛍光発光比または異なる波長における励起により決定されます。Fura 2は、505nmに発光ピークを持ち、励起ピークの範囲は340～380nmで、好ましいカルシウム指示薬です。
