6-ベンジルアミノプリン（ベンジルアデニン）（BAP）は、合成サイトカイニンです。
Application
6-ベンジルアミノプリン溶液は、マンダリン移植片およびDendrocalamus asper（Schultes f.）の小植物体の培養に用いるムラシゲ-スクーグ培地の成分として使用されています。&また、ブドウ外植片のNitsch-Nitsch培地（NN）のサプリメントとしても使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
6-ベンジルアミノプリン（BAP）は、植物生長培地に添加するサイトカイニンサプリメントとして使用されます。BAPはクロロフィル分解を防ぐことで葉菜類の収穫後寿命を延長します。ミクロ増殖に使用されます。ただし、一部の植物では、BAPは生長および根形成の阻害につながります。BAPフェニル環ベースの誘導体は、その抗がん作用を試験するために広く使用されています。
