Application
ヒト胎盤由来コラーゲンは キニーネの気道上皮細胞への生体電気効果の測定、人工レンチウイルス溶解性ペプチドの選択的毒性の研究、Staphylococcus aureusのフィブロネクチン、フィブリノーゲンおよびコラーゲン受容体の迅速な検出のための粒子凝集測定、に用いられています。 また、ヒト肺がんに付随する抗原の特徴付けにおけるマグネシウム依存性、コラーゲン結合測定に用いられています。
Other Notes
すべてのコラーゲン分子は、三重螺旋構造に配置された3つのポリペプチド鎖で構成されます。その一次構造の大部分は、グリシンが3番目ごとに配置されるモチーフの反復で、グリシン残基の前にはしばしばプロリンまたは4-ヒドロキシプロリンが配置されています。
コラーゲンは複数の構造的および遺伝的に異なるタイプに分類されています。弊社ではBornsteinとTraubが提唱した命名法を使用しています。シグマ アルドリッチのタイプ分けは一般的なコラーゲン分類とは異なりますのでご注意ください。
Preparation Note
この製品は、次の論文のペプシン抽出法と塩分画法を改変することにより調製されました：Hill, R.J. and Harper, E., Anal.Biochem., 141 (1984).これは凍結乾燥粉末で、滅菌済みの0.5 M酢酸、PBSまたは水に1 mg/mL濃度で再溶解できます。 PBS溶液は、-20°Cで1年間以上安定です。
