Chelex® 100ナトリウムフォームは、次の用途で使用されています：
- ハチサンプルからのDNAの抽出
- タバコ煙抽出物（CSE）からの鉄除去とマウス肺におけるヘプシジン発現の効果の研究
- 細菌培養からのDNAの抽出
Chelexは、アフィニティークロマトグラフィー、タンパク質クロマトグラフィー、キレート樹脂、アフィニティー樹脂およびコアバイオ試薬に使用されます。
Biochem/physiol Actions
Chelex® 100は、多価金属イオンとの結合においてキレート基として作用する一対のイミノ二酢酸イオンを含むスチレン-ジビニルベンゼン共重合体です。弱酸性樹脂と考えられます。Chelexは、毛髪、血の付いたカード、口内スワブなどの法医学試料からのDNA抽出で使用されるキレート樹脂として機能します。

本製品はナトリウム型でオートクレーブ可能です。最高作動温度は75℃で、水に溶けません。
