Application
生コーヒー豆由来 α‐ガラクトシダーゼは抗-α-ガラクトシダーゼ抗体の特異性の評価に用いられています。また、1,5-ジデオキシ-1,5-イミノ-d-キシリトールの N-グアニジノ誘導体の活性阻害測定に用いられています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
生コーヒー豆由来 α‐ガラクトシダーゼはオリゴ糖から末端の α‐ガラクトースを切断します。α-ガラクトシダーゼの欠乏はファブリー病と関連があります。

BSAを含有する3.2 Mの(NH4)2SO4溶液(pH 6.0)で調製した懸濁液

1ユニットは、pH 6.5、25°C、1分間で、1.0 μmolのp-ニトロフェニルα-D-ガラクトシドをp-ニトロフェノールとD-ガラクトースに加水分解する酵素量です。
