Biochem/physiol Actions

ヒアルロニダーゼはエンドグリコシダーゼであり、β-グルクロニダーゼやβ-N-アセチルグルコサミニダーゼなどのエキソグリコシダーゼとともに機能します。ヒアルロニダーゼは、ヒアルロン酸の代謝回転を制御します。
ヒアルロン酸リアーゼは、β-D-GlcNAc-（1→4）-β-D-GlcA結合でヒアルロン酸を切断し、3-（4-デオキシ-β-D-グルコ-4-エヌロノシル）-N-アセチル-D-グルコサミン四糖および六糖を生成します。他のヒアルロニダーゼとは異なり、この酵素はヒアルロン酸に特異的で、コンドロイチンおよびコンドロイチン硫酸に対しては不活性です。

General description

ヒアルロニダーゼは広く天然に存在します。ヒトでは、ヒアルロニダーゼは多くの器官および体液に存在します。ヒアルロニダーゼはウイルス、バクテリオファージ、真菌および細菌の分泌物中に認められます。これは線虫およびヒルの分泌物にも存在します。ヘビおよびサソリは、毒液中にヒアルロニダーゼを産生します。ヒアルロニダーゼは、ミツバチ、クモ、アシナガバチ、スズメバチ、毛虫、魚およびトカゲでも分泌されます。

Other Notes

1単位は、37ºC、pH 5.35で1分間に0.75 μgの多糖ヒアルロン酸を分解させます（45分後のBSAとの複合体形成時に比濁吸光法（λ：600 nm）によって測定）。

Enzymatic Assay of Hyaluronidase (3.2.1.35)

To measure hyaluronidase activity, a turbidimetric determination assay is used at 600 nm. One unit of hyaluronidase activity will cause a change in absorbance of 0.330 per minute at pH 5.35 at 37 °C.
