General description
IgAは、体内で産生される最も豊富な抗体アイソタイプの1つです。主に粘膜固有層に存在する形質細胞によって分泌されます。IgAには2つのサブタイプ、IgA1およびIgA2があり、それぞれ主に気道と結腸に存在します。
Application
ヒト血清由来のIgAは、血液サンプル中の重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2(SARS-CoV-2)スパイク受容体結合ドメイン(RBD)に対する抗体の検出のための酵素結合免疫吸着測定法(ELISA)に使用されています。
精製されたヒトIgAは、炎症、病原体除去、抗体依存性細胞媒介性細胞傷害（ADCC）の調節、食作用の調節、好酸球と好塩基球の脱顆粒、活性酸素産生能の調節などのプロセスに対する生理学的および生物学的効果の研究に使用できます。
Biochem/physiol Actions
IgAは、ロタウイルス、ポリオウイルス、インフルエンザウイルス、重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2(SARS-CoV-2)などの様々なウイルス病原体に対する防御機構の誘導を助けます。炎症性疾患における過剰な免疫応答を調節します。IgAは、細胞殺傷のための好中球動員を誘導することもできます。
