General description
MCDB培地は、ホルモン、成長因子、微量元素、または低濃度の透析ウシ胎仔血清タンパク質（FBSP）を用いた、特定の細胞タイプの低タンパク質増殖または無血清増殖用に設計されています。各MCDB培地は、特定の細胞タイプの増殖を選択的に促進するのに最適なバランスの既知の栄養環境を提供できるよう（定性的および定量的に）調製されています。MCDB 105は、MCDB 104培地で行われた改変に由来します。この培地は、WI-38やMRC-5などのヒト二倍体線維芽細胞様細胞の長期増殖に適しています。
