General description
プロテインGはG群レンサ球菌タンパク質であり、大きなマルチドメイン細胞壁タンパク質です。反復する55個のアミノ酸ドメインを介してIgG（免疫グロブリン）のFc領域と相互作用します。GX7809株およびGX7805株には、そのようなタンパク質反復がそれぞれ2個および3個含まれています。
遺伝子改変により切断されたプロテインG；IgGに対する親和性は維持されますが、アルブミン結合部位、Fab結合部位および膜結合領域を欠失しています。
Application
プロテインGは、表面プラズモン共鳴（SPR）を使用したhCG（ヒト絨毛性ゴナドトロピン）に対するmAb（モノクローナル抗体）相乗効果の分析、およびRA（関節リウマチ）患者およびMRL-lprマウスから得られた血清IgGガラクトシル化に使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
プロテインGは、タンパク質結合性を介して、レンサ球菌による宿主防御反応の回避に関与しています。ヒト血漿の主要な阻害剤であるα2-ミクログロブリンと相互作用します。
