TGN46（トランスゴルジネットワークタンパク質、46 kDa）は、ラットTGN38のヒトホモログであり、TGNと原形質膜との間を恒常的に循環し、エンドソームを介して戻るトランスゴルジネットワーク(TGN)の膜内在性タンパク質です。TGNは、タンパク質、脂質および膜の輸送に関連する分泌経路の主な選別コンパートメントです。TGN46は、高度にグリコシル化されたタンパク質であり、TGN間を往復する膜輸送制御におそらく関与しています。TGN46はシグナル伝達ペプチド、管腔ドメイン、膜貫通ドメイン、および細胞質内ドメインを含有しています。膜貫通領域および細胞質尾部は、それぞれTGN局在部位に対する保持シグナルおよび回収シグナルを含んでいます。 TGN46は広範囲に発現しています。
抗TGN46は、ヒトトランスゴルジネットワークタンパク質2（TGN46）を認識します。イムノブロッティングによるTGN46バンドの検出は免疫ペプチドにより特異的に阻害されます。

Immunogen

ヒトTGN46のアミノ酸残基426-437に相当する合成ペプチド(N末端システイン付加)のKLH結合体。相当する配列はサルと同一であり、ラットおよびマウスで3アミノ酸異なっています。

Application

ウサギポリクローナル抗TGN46抗体は、イムノブロッティング、免疫沈降、および免疫蛍光などの免疫細胞化学および免疫組織化学（IHC）法による検出および定量のため、トランスゴルジネットワークタンパク質2にタグ付けするのに使用されています。 本化合物は、トランスゴルジネットワーク（TGN）の膜輸送制御構成要素として、トランスゴルジネットワークタンパク質2の有無および役割を判定するプローブとして使用されます。 抗TGN46は、TGNマーカーとして使用されることがあります。
