Biochem/physiol Actions

Le thimérosal est un réactif oxydant les groupements sulfhydryle (thiol) qui est capable d'inhiber de multiples protéines et enzymes dépendantes de groupements sulfhydryle telles que la méthionine synthase dépendante de la PI3-kinase, les récepteurs transporteurs du glutamate et les ATPases dépendantes de Na++K+.
