Application
3-メルカプト-1-プロパンスルホン酸（MPS）ナトリウムを用いて、チオールエン反応によるテトラビニルシランとの光化学反応により、テトラ置換有機ケイ素チオエーテルを調製することができます。また、金ナノ粒子を官能化するためのキャッピング剤としても使用可能であり、放射線療法や薬物送達の分野でのアプリケーションが期待されます。
MPSは塩化ロジウム(III)の液相還元によるRhナノ粒子の調製にも使用できます。
