General description
トロンビンは凝固第IIa因子です。アルギニンのカルボキシル側でペプチド及びエステル結合を特異的に加水分解するセリンエンドペプチダーゼです。この酵素はフィブリノゲンをフィブリンに変換します。製品にはEDTAの他に安定化剤が含まれます。
トロンビンはNa+活性化アロステリックセリンプロテアーゼです。キモトリプシンファミリーに属します。トロンビンは、ジスルフィド結合で共有結合した36残基（A鎖）及び259残基（B鎖）の2本のポリペプチド鎖で構成されています。
Application
トロンビンは、血液凝固研究、医学研究、タンパク質構造解析、生化学研究において使用されます。血小板の刺激に使用されています。
トロンビンは組換えRELM（レジスチン様分子ファミリーの分子）の発現及び精製に使用されています。また血小板のフィブリノゲン上での拡張及び免疫染色にも使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
トロンビンは血液凝固において重要な役割を果たします。トロンビンは、フィブリノゲンが不溶性のフィブリン塊に変化する際の凝血原となります。トロンビンは、プロテインCを活性化することにより抗凝固剤として作用することも可能です。
