クロルプロマジンは、白血病細胞に対する細胞毒性と抗増殖活性がありますが、正常なリンパ球の生存率には影響を与えません。
フェノチアジン系抗精神病薬であり、D2ドーパミンレセプターおよびH1ヒスタミンレセプターのアンタゴニストです。サイクリックヌクレオチドホスホジエステラーゼやNOシンターゼによるカルモジュリン依存性刺激作用を阻害します。
