General description

麦芽エキス寒天培地は、その豊富さと栄養バランスから汎用増殖培地と考えられています。この培地は、偏好性微生物の培養に適しています。pHが酸性のため、酵母やカビの単離、培養、維持に使用されます。麦芽エキスには、エネルギー源として使われる多糖類が含まれています。菌類のペプトンは窒素源として働き、寒天は迅速な繁殖と典型的な形態、色素沈着をもたらす固化剤になります。乳酸や酒石酸、抗生物質を添加することで、細菌の増殖を抑えて培地の選択性を高めることができます。Aspergillus flavusの選択的培養に、Reissは改変された麦芽エキス培地を推奨しています。Rappによれば、特定の指示染料を麦芽エキス寒天培地に添加することで、酵母と細菌のコロニーを区別できるようになります。

Application

麦芽エキス寒天培地は、さまざまな材料中の真菌（特に酵母やカビ）の検出、単離、計数や、微生物学的ビタミンアッセイ用の菌株培養に推奨されます。

Preparation Note

50 gを蒸留水1 Lに懸濁し、沸騰させて溶解します。115°Cで10分間オートクレーブ処理して滅菌します。細菌増殖を抑えるには、10%滅菌ろ過乳酸2 mLを添加してpHを3.5に調節します。

Candida albicans（鵞口瘡カンジダ）のコロニー型変異体の生物学的属性；揮発性代謝物や他のP. aurantiogriseumの指標 - 様々な基質での増殖
ニーズによって、2種類の培地タイプを提供しています：よく顆粒化したGranuCult®培地と、費用効果の高い粉末化したNutriSelect®培地です。
基本的な品質管理から標準的なQCプラス、そして完全な規制遵守を示すプライムまでの品質管理レベルを示すために、ベーシック、プラス、プライムという名称を加えています。
