General description

Tromethamine is commonly used as a buffering and emulsifying agent in pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations.
Application
Tromethamine may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by capillary electrophoresis.
