Biochem/physiol Actions

アロプリノールはプリンアナログで、プリン代謝に関与する特定の酵素を阻害します。体内の尿酸の合成を低下させることが知られています。アロプリノールが媒介するキサンチンオキシダーゼの阻害では、アテローム動脈硬化症、急性肺損傷、うっ血性心不全に対して抗炎症効果が見られます。
キサンチンオキシダーゼおよびde novoピリミジン生合成のインヒビター。尿酸過剰血症や痛風の治療に用いる伝統的薬剤です。
