C 48/80は次の用途で使用されています：
- ELISAおよびフローサイトメトリーによる測定を目的としてヒスタミンを放出させるために血球を刺激
- マウスのアナフィラキシー活性、皮膚炎、そう痒、炎症を誘発するために肥満細胞脱顆粒を誘発する
Biochem/physiol Actions
化合物48/80 （C 48/80）は血圧降下薬で、ヒスタミンの放出を促進します。C 48/80は、Styela plicata（シロボヤ）の血球の食作用能を低減させます。C 48/80は、肥満細胞の脱顆粒を促進します。C 48/80は、カルモジュリン、ホスホリパーゼC、小胞体（ER）Ca2+ATPアーゼを阻害し、Gタンパク質を活性化します。
