Biochem/physiol Actions

Discodermia calyx由来のカリクリンAはオカダ酸受容体に結合します。平滑筋ではカルシウムチャネルを活性化します。カリクリンAはたんぱく質のリン酸化を調節し、それにより精子の受精能獲得を調節します。活性化されたB細胞（NF-κB）とアポトーシスの核因子κ-軽鎖エンハンサーのリン酸化を強化します。
プロテインホスファタ-ゼ1型, 2A型のインヒビタ-です。魚介毒であり、強力な腫瘍プロモ-タ-です。
