コンアルブミン(別名オボトランスフェリン)は卵白由来の糖タンパク質で、血清トランスフェリンと配列が類似していますが、糖修飾のパターンが異なります。強力な鉄結合剤で、抗ウイルス活性、抗菌活性があります。
コンアルブミンは、発生中の胚への鉄輸送を促進します。抗菌活性を示すため、コンアルブミンは、乳児用調製粉乳、食品添加物、および動物の健康を増進するための抗菌剤などのさまざまな用途に使用されています。さらに、抗真菌剤、抗ウイルス剤、抗癌剤、抗酸化剤、抗高血圧剤、および免疫調節剤としても役立ちます。

General description

コンアルブミンは、オボトランスフェリンとも呼ばれ、輸卵管内の鳥類トランスフェリン遺伝子によりコードされています。これは、686のアミノ酸で構成されているモノマー糖タンパク質であり、トランスフェリンファミリーのメンバーです。コンアルブミンは、鶏卵白に存在する豊富なタンパク質の1つです。
