General description
IgG抗体サブタイプは、免疫系に最も豊富にある血清免疫グロブリンです。B細胞から分泌され、血中と細胞外液中に見られ、細菌、真菌およびウイルスに起因する感染症から保護します。母親のIgGは、胎盤を通して胎児に受け継がれますが、これは、新生児の感染症に対する免疫防御にとって不可欠です。マウスIgGは、4種類の異なるアイソタイプ、つまり、IgG1、IgG2a、IgG2b、およびIgG3に分類されます。
