General description
免疫グロブリンG（IgG）は免疫グロブリンファミリーの1つであり、定常（C）領域にガンマ（γ）重鎖を有します。IgGのモノマー構造は2本の同一の重鎖と2本の同一の軽鎖を有し、それぞれ分子量は50 kDa及び25 kDaです。また、この抗体の一次構造には2本の重鎖の連結、重鎖と軽鎖の連結に関与し、鎖の内側に存在するジスルフィド結合が含まれます。IgGはさらに、異なる重鎖を有する4つのクラス、すなわち、IgG1、IgG2、IgG3、およびIgG4に細分され、それぞれγ1、γ2、γ3、およびγ4と呼ばれています。
Immunogen
抗マウスIgGは、精製マウスIgGを免疫原としてウサギで産生されます。全抗血清を精製することにより抗血清のIgG画分が得られます。
Application
抗マウスIgG（全分子）ウサギ宿主抗体は、免疫ブロッティング、免疫沈降、免疫組織化学の二次抗体として使用されました。
Biochem/physiol Actions
IgG抗体サブタイプは、免疫系の血清免疫グロブリンの中で最も豊富に存在します。B細胞によって分泌されて、血液および細胞外液に見出すことができ、細菌、菌類、およびウイルスによって引き起こされる感染症から体を守ります。母親のIgGは、胎盤を通して胎児に受け継がれますが、これは、新生児の感染症に対する免疫防御にとって不可欠です。
抗血清は、免疫電気泳動（IEP）により、正常マウスの血清及びマウスIgGと比較して、マウスIgGに対し免疫特異的であると判定されています。オクタロニー二重拡散法（ODD）により、産生物はマウスIgG、マウスIgA及びIgMと反応します。

Preparation Note
継続して使用する場合、2～8℃で保存し、1ヵ月まで使用できます。長期保存する場合は、溶液を作業用の一定分量に分けて凍結することができます。凍結及び融解の繰り返し、又は「霜取り不要」冷凍庫の使用は推奨されません。長期の保存でわずかな濁りが生じた場合、使用前に遠心分離し、溶液をクリアにしてください。
